KPD was formed in 2007. The company which is based in Aberdeen started operations in the newspaper distribution service for John Menzies. The company rapidly established itself as a flexible, diverse and reliable force in the local courier and logistics market, supplying dedicated drivers to various blue-chip companies.
Our scope of operation rapidly expanded which led to the opening of its own distribution and storage centre and we were invited to join the XDP network and to take over all the AB, DD, and PH postcode areas.
In 2013 KPD UK DELIVERY was formed and all the operations were transferred to the new company with plans of offering UK wide transport and logistics services, we opened our Dundee depot in the same year.
An increase in the supply of dedicated and ad-hoc drivers and vehicles to our customers has seen us grow to over 60 employees and self-employees with a fleet of over 40 vehicles. As part of a parcel network KPD can now offer collection and deliveries throughout the UK for both business users and also the private sector.
We have also been given the opportunity to supply a 2MAN service for all heavy goods and furniture throughout Aberdeenshire and Dundee and our 2MAN services started 2014-15.
Our company works with many blue chip companies and our success with them is our ability to adapt to the customer’s individual needs with dedicated staff that ensures full support is given to the daily requirements of our clients.
When we commit to a customer we endeavour to take on full responsibility for our part in the client’s operation leaving the client one less area of their business to worry about.
Our objective in time is to become the number one choice in Scotland and England for delivery service and service partnership within our industry obtained over a steady period of time extending our area slowly making sure we provide a first class service.
